from Bob Hope.

The Nova Scotia, Newfoundland
and Labrador film will be shown
twice Nov. 5 at the North Van-
couver theatre, once at 6 p.m. and
then again at 8:30 p.m.

LEARN TO appreciate wines with wine expert Ted Appleby at a
workshop running at Eagle Harbour Community Centre Mondays, Nov.
9 to 30.

Appleby will guide participants through 40 wines, with accompanying
cheeses, pates and breads.

Discussion will focus on wines, bottles, glasses, corks, the language of
the table, serving wine, tasting and evaluation. Wines included in tasting
sessions will vary from sparkling and table wines to sherries and ports.
