Bravo's cooks Kensington BRAVO'S intermediate Peewees topped a division- winning 1988 North Shore Softball Association (NSSA) season with a triumph in the Lower Mainland softball tournament. The under 14 boys squad played Kensington Wildcats at Vancouver's South Memorial Park, June 21 and 22. Two games were played in the tournament with the win going to the team with the most overall runs in the two games, The first game ended in a 14-14 tie, but Bravo’s came on in the second game to whip the Wildcats 16-11. Bravo's will now travel to the intermediate peewee finals to be held July 13 and 14 in either Campbell River or Whiterock. NSSA finals will be played June 29 at Loutet Park in North Vancouver.
