I was concerned after -w

reading in the March 4 issue
of the North Shore News,
that a request for vendor's
licence to sell. fresh picked
strawberries: was turacd
down by municipal staff.
Council should = give
thought and a great deal of
consideration to this,
remembering that there are
a great many older members
of the community (albeit
outside of the British Pacific
Properties) who have neither
the means nor the energies
to get out to the farmlands of
the Lower Mainland inorder
to take advantage of -the
fresh produce available.

locations which thcy con-

worthwhile undertaking.
