council’s attention as it was

“something which hasn't
been stated accurately in this
chamber and as a result has
been inaccurately reported
in the press is that Flora and
James Casano never did own
thatland.”

“The land has been owned
by the taxpayers of North
Vancouver since 1925,” he
continued “and Mr. Casano
has had an interest in the
adjacent lot since 1965.”
