NEW options for West
Vancouver's proposed
$8.5-million western
recreation centre have
been presented to
council, but not all of
them will make it onto
the agenda of an

upcoming public meet-
ing.

“Option one” is the
newest and cheapest solution
to date. It was presented to
council on Monday night as
part of 2 staff report involving
three new proposals for the
Pianned — Gleneagles
course /western recreation
centre combination.

But even with an offered
savings of more than $2.2 mil-
lion over the original propos-
al, option one has become
option none.
