“Sign attracts penalty

A&W Food Services of Canada had to dish out $1,500
recently to pay fora fine levied under North Vancouver
District's sign bylaw,

A representative of the food chain pleaded guilty on
June 11 of displaying a sign without a pernsit at the restan-
rant at 1520 Main St.

A&W was charged not once, but three times with the
same bylaw infraction within seven days. The offences,
according to the bylaw charges, took place on March +4,
March 5, and March 10.

the roof of an existing building at 124 Mountain Highway.

224, A company representative pleaded guilty and was fined
” for contravening the B.C. Building Code and failing to get
a building permit for the move. »
