HORSESHOE BAY ferry terminal traffic experienced long line-ups
over the B.C. Day holiday weekend. By 7 2.m. Friday the backlog
of overheight vehicles was enougin to fil! four ferries. The main
message staff were telling travellers was ‘‘not to be in a hurry."

@ Heyseshoe Bay to Nanaimo
and Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay:
in effect until Sept. 8:

Leave Horseshoe Bay daily at 7
am., 9 am., I! am., 1 p.m., 3
p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
On Thursday evenings through to
Tuesday mornings there will also
be departures from Horseshoe Bay
at Il p.m., I am., 3 a.m. and 5
a.m. From Thursdays to Mondays
there will also be extra sailings
rom Horseshoe Bay at 6 p.m.

Leave Nanaimo daily at 7 a.m.,
9am., I a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., §
p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. On
Thursday evenings through to
Tuesday mornings there will be
departures at 11 p.m., 1 a.m., 3
a.m. and 5 a.m. From Thursdays
to Mondays there will be an extra
sailing at 2 p.m.

There is also a 50% savings on
the 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. sailings.
