(GVHC) met recently to discuss a review of the current ‘'no pets policy" in its housing projects. The board has directed housing corporation staff to prepare guidelines for a pet policy relating to size, type and number and related aspects of ownership. A draft tetter outlining guidelines is te be presented to the GVHC board in November. “Interim eviction notices to pet owners will be put on hold,” said corporation president and Port Moody Mayor David Driscoll. *“*However the staff have been directed to act immediately if there is a nuisance complaint against an animal, including runn- ing loose or making noise.”’ There are currently about 15 animals within GVHC complexes about which complaints have been registered.
