April 26 CG 12, Winds 5: Howe S. 17, Seyc 7. TRACK AND FIELD The 25th annual North Shore Track and Field Meet is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15 at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby. It will be the first time since 1970 the meet will be held at Swangard. The meet is usually held at Em- pire Stadium. Preliminary meets will be held May 7-10 around the North Shore between 3:45 pm - 7 pm (approx). These prelims will determine who represents their schools at the North Shore Meet May 15S. Golf clubs needed for junior players THIS YEAR the British Col- umbia Professional Golfer’s Association is launching a provide-wide Junior-Junior golf program for boys and girls ages four to eleven. In an effort to make this program a complete success the professionals are making a plea to the golfing public to donate any used golf clubs.” The clubs will then be cut down to size and have new grips installed to be used by the youngsters. With a starting date set for the last weekend in May, the program will be held over a five-week period.
