article being incorrect: over
the volume of chemicals
dumped

The report: of the case
against Western Stevedoring
stated that 17 18,000 gallons
of pentacholoraphe nol
(PCP) had been dumped on a
paved area at Lynnterm
draining into Burrard inlet

In fact, the PCP dumped
was of considerably — less
volumc, being contained in a
tank which had a capacity of
1,700. 1,800 gallons

The defence in the case
was that although PCP was
dumped, the tank was not
completely full at the time
and only a
contents were dumped
