Postmaster Jean
Majauskas said last year the
post office cancelled 129,000
pieces of mail during
December. She anticipates
about the same amount this
year.

Every year local artists
design some depiction of
Christmas and one or two of
the designs are picked to be
made into that year’s rubber

packages of Christmas mail postmark stamp. This year,
to: the post office to be the chosen designs are a
stamped withthe Bethlehem Christmas tree and tapered
postmark. candles with a bough.
