SE CARA pe Three youths arrested after pipe used in vicious assault on Grade 12 Carson student THREE JUVENILE males were arrested by North Vancouver RCMP Monday afternoon after a Grade 12 student at Carson Graham secondary school was at- tacked with a metal pipe. By Surj Ratian News Reporter North Vancouver RCMP Const. Dick Walton said a group of be- tween five and six youths arrived at the school at about 12 p.m. on Monday and threatened one of the school’s students. Walton added that three juve- nile males returned to Carson Graham at 3:15 p.m. on Monday and one person struck a Grade 12 student with a pipe. He added that when a friend of the victim tried to intervene, the others in the group produced sev- eral knives. But Walton said the knives were not used in the attack. He added that the three suspects were expected to appear in North Vancouver provincial court) on Tuesday. All three have been charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. ‘Yd can’t comment on what led to the incident. According to Walton, the victim and two of the suspects are 16 years old, while the third suspect is 15.
