RCNP seek bank robber NORTH VANCOUVER RCMP sre searching for a man who rob- bed the National Trust March 2. A lone male entered the bank, located at 1407 Lonsdale Avenue, | at approximately 8 p.m. The man robbed the bank of an un- disclosed quantity of cash. No weapon was produced. The suspect is described by police as being approximately 30 years of age, 5°10°’, 150 pounds, with dark hair, a beard and a mustache. The man was wearing 2 quilted, thigh-lesgth. royal blue ski jacket. He was last seen leaving the building and heading north on Lonsdale. NV service station robbed THIEVES MADE off sith a quantity of cash after breaking into a | Pemberion Avenue service station March 3. North Vancouver RCMP responded to ao intrusion alarm origi- asting from the service station at approximately 6 a.m. Upon irrival, investigating officers found that entry had teen attempted by someone removing a piece of plywood which had been covering a window broken during a previous break and entry. When employees arrived for work at 3 a.m. March 4, they found that their shop had been illegally entered overnight. Access to the building was gained through the roof. Thieves used nearby pallets to get to the roof and then found the roof hatch unlocked and climbed in. Police warn business owners to be extremely cauthous and not provide such easy methods of entry for criminals.
