Over the next decade, the GVRD eapects mie
visitors to the LSCR. In the same penod, water
construction projects and ongoing operation ol
water facilites in the reserve will result in more
vehicle traffic and large trucks on the Seymour
Mainline Road making it unsuitable for recreauion.
Anew pathway planned for the reserve will provide
a safer and more enjoyable route to hike, bike or
in-line skate up the valley.

The SVRD has revised the pathway design based
on public input received at two open houses held
last spring. join us for an open house regarding a
final review of the project plan.

Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve Learning
Lodge. GVRD staff will present project plans at
7 p.m. followed by a question and answer period.

To reach the Learning Lodge at 4400 Lillooet
Road, take Exit 22 off Highway 1 and foilow
Lillooet Road to the Lower Seymour Conservation
Reserve, approximately three kilometres past
Capilano College.

Stepping out
