The cartoon was held up as
an example of the credit
union’s lack of concern for
customer privacy by News
Services.

It was removed from the
site last Thursday, while the
credit union and News
Services were in negotiations
to transfer ownership of the
domain name.

The name NSCU.com was
signed over to the credit
union this week.

“1 can tell you we paid less
than $10,000 (for the
name),” said credit union
lawyer Gene Mackey.

McHarg said that contrary
to the information in the ¢

“never sell” its domain name),
