Classes help keep fit in ’89

Centre has a variety of new pro-
grams starting this month to meet
all the new resolutions for 1989.
In addition to all the ongoing
. fitness classes running seven days a
week, there is a new Strength and
Stretch class offered. on Tuesday
and Thursday a 16:15 a.m...

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS are
. Starting up again at the Capilano
Branch of North Vancouver
District.

Preschool Story Time begins
again, Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 2:00
p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 12 at
10:30 a.m

This program is for three to five .

year olds and does not require
pre-registration.

Tales For Two for moms and
two year olds starts up, Jan. 18 at

10:15. and 11:15 a.m... Pre-register

on Wednesday, Jan. 1).

With the kids returning to
school, they'll be wanting to get
back to the Supereaders program
at the library. Designed for Grades
2 to 4, Supereaders begins Thurs-
day, Jan. 12 at 3:45 p.m.

To pre-register, call 987-4471.

This class will accommodate all
those who cannot attend the
Strength and Stretch classes on
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or
Thursday evenings or Saturday
mornings.

In conjunction with most fitness
classes there are programs running
to suit preschoolers — these in-
clude programs such as Preschool
Playmates, Inside Out, Puddle
Hoppers, Tiny Tot Paste. and
Paper, Rainbow Riders, Sneakers
and Snacks — to mention just a
few. :
