able through North Shore Com-
“munity Services (NSCS).

ANIMAL lovers are needed to
help teach children responsible pet
care, Instruction involves showing
how to have respect and compas-
sion for all living creatures.
Training and orientation wiil be
provided. .

TUTORS are needed on a
drop-in basis to assist students

who are in “grades seven’ through
12, with their math, English,
social studics, and sciences, The
volunteer is required for two
hours a week. Orientation will be
provided.

MEAL servers are -needed
weekday afternoons at a seniors’
society to help serve meals, clean
up and socialize with the seniors.
Training and orientation will be
provided.

A RECREATION assistant is
needed to accompany two men-

tally challenged men and a staff
member to a local recreation cen-
tre to swim. The volunteer is re-
quired two mornings @ Week,

DRIVERS are always needed to
take cancer patients From West
Vancouver to their treatment ap-
pointments in Vancouver. The
hours are flexible and reimburse-
ments will be made for gas,
