Camp Gitchigoomi is an exten- sion of the summer daycamp pro- gram operating out of recCentre Andrews. Steve Ritchie is the lead- er who brings a wealth of experi- ence to a program full of coopera- tive games, crafts, outdoor activi- ties, swimming and out-trips. A graduate of the Capilano Col- lege Outdoor Recreation Manage- ment program, Ritchie has travell- ed extensively both locally and in- ternationally. His interests include exploring the outdoors, skiing, various water sports, and en- couraging others to enjoy all kinds of leisure activity. “Girl or boy, big or small, athletic or not, there’s something for everyone at camp Git- chigoomi,’’ says Ritchie. ‘*And whether it’s a new friend, a new skill, or a new activity, everyone will bring something home at the end of a full and busy day.’’ At press time the actual days, Single parents hold event NORTH SHORE Parents Without Partners, chapter 737, invites all single parents and their children to joir: in a special event.
