ANNUAL Canada Day celebrations at North Vancouver's Waterfront Park included a special citizenship ceremony for new Canadians. Over 18 countries were represented at the event. New Canadians, swear an oath. es at the park included music and dancing, a merry-go- round, a craft fair, miniature golf, lantern making workshops, a dog show and North Vancouver country singing sensation Bobbi Smith. The evening ended with a giant bonfire, birthday cake and a fireworks display. Teresa Gallo (below), Deborah Culham and Sophie Jerkovic were on hand to hand out flags.
