Community Services (NSCS):

Dog walkers are needed by an
organization dedicated to the well-
being of all animals to walk dogs
currently being boarded in homes
on the North Shore.

Bridge hosts/hostesses are
needed at a seniors’ care facility to
help organize bridge game. The
volunteer helps with setting up for
bridge game and may be asked to
play. from time-to time.

A one-on-one support volun-
teer is needed to assist a young
man who has had a brain injury.
The objective is to enable him to
participate in a variety of recre-
ational activities, especially physi-
cal and outdoor.

A driver's license is required.

A. creative artistic person is
needed to make posters for resi-
- dents in a long term care facility.
The pusters are to advertise events
‘within the facility. All materials are
supplied. Hours are flexible.

An environmental art assis-
tant is needed for a major art event
in August. The assistant will help
plan and implement a project to
create an outdoor art piece using
only natural objects.

Vision mates are needed to pro-

vide companionship to . visually

impaired people by visiting them in
their homes on a regular basis.
Volunteers should have good spo-
ken English. and be friendly and
reliable.

A baby clinic volunteer is
needed Tuesday afternoons at a
breastfeeding clinic to help with
greeting visitors, taking names,
weighing babies and providing
information.
