KABELA - Edward Danie! (1928-1994)
passed away suddenly on October 5,
1994 while travelling on the Gran
Canaria Island. He is lovingly
temembered and greatly missed by his
adoring wife of 44 years, Jarka, his son
Edward, daughter-in-law Susan and little
frandson Garrett. Also by countless
tiends, employees and associates in
B.C., Caliente, California and his birth
place Prague (Czechoslovakia). Dad was
an avid tennis player, who with the fam-
ily dog Shogun often enjoyed walks
along the West Vancouver Sea Walk.
Shogun predeceased Dat! an September
22, 1994. Scouting anead, marking
trails, a never ending companion. As a
husband and father he will be remem-
bered for his generosity, sense of humo:
and always tor his love. Funeral service
to be held at Hollyburn Funeral Home,
1807 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, B.C.
Monday, October 24 at | p.m. In lieu of

Lions Gate Hospital Foundation in mem-

STOGAN - On October 18, 1994, Waiker
Stogan age 78 years. Sadly missed by

BOOTHBY - Phyllis (Shaw) passed away
peacefully on October 19, 1994 at Lions
ate Hospital, age 77. Phyllis will be
greatly missed and fondly remembered
by her loving husband Granville and
daughter Lynda; sisters Dorothy Cumm-
ing, Ethel Horne (Curtis); brother Vic
Shaw (Vi); sisters-in-law Ethel Boothby,
Velma Mackay, Laura Best (Bob), Helen
McEachern (Ben). Marg Boothby; and

lived her life with quiet strength, dignity
and boundless spirit. A memorial service
will be held Friday, October 28 at 2
p.m. at St. David's Hnited Church, 1525
