MAILBOX Canadians must speak out on war Dear Editor: Since the first casualty of war is truth, we are indebted to the North Shore News for publishing Bob Hunter's columns. Especially pertinent were Mr. Hunter’s words, ‘‘Let Bush correct his own mistakes’’ (Jan. 20) and ‘‘Saddam isn’t the only liar,’’ (Feb. 3). However, Bob Hunter is wrong when he says there is nothing any of us can do. Those who are con- cerned for our troops in the Mi. dle East and want them to be used only for peaceful duty, must speak out.
