MECHANIC

A challenging full time opportunity is available for a
skilled shop journeyman in the maintenance,
overhaul, service and repair of a variely of
automotive, heavy duty and small equipment and
vehicles. As a working supervisor you will be respon-
sible for assigning, supervising and checking the work
performed on the afterncon shift, maintaining shop
records, performing welding tasks common to
mechanical shop work and providing input into the
development and application of work methods and
techniques.

The successful applicant will be a certified Heavy Du-
ty Mechanic with a sound related journeyman and
supervisory experience and hold a valid Class 3 B.C.
Driver's Licence witn air brake endorsement. Good
interpersonal and communication skills are required
plus the ability to work independently with minimat
supervision.

This is a permanent 3:30 p.m.-12:00 midnight posi-
tion with a salary of $19.74 per hour based on a 40
hour work week plus 60* per hour shift differential.
