Alcohol and drugs are especially
singled out in the policy, and prin-
cipals can suspend students im-

ed to be intoxicated or high while
at school or at a school function.

“No pupil shall possess, use,
sell, distribute, supply, or be under
the influence of an alcoholic bev-
erage or an illegal or restricted
drug while cn school premises or
at any school-related game or
function,’’ the policy commands.

If the student breaks this rule
for the second time, the principal
is encouraged to hand the decision
between reinstatement or expulsion
