Thousands graduate from UBC A TOTAL of 4,140 academic degrees was conferred on graduating students at the Univer- sity of British Columbia’s spring Congregation ceremonies May 31 te June 2. In addition to academic degrees, six honorary degrees were awarded to individuals who made outstand- ing and significant contributions to society.
