Locals dance
in Nutcracker

NINE STUDENTS from North
Vancouver’s Seymour Heights
School of Dance will perform in
The Nutcracker with the Pacific
Northwest Ballet Company next
month,

The classic event, which is tradi-
tionally performed each
Christmas, will be held at the
Queen Elizabeth Theatre from
Dec. 28 to Jan. 7. Auditions were
held Cct. 30 in Vancouver with
hundreds of local dance students
trying out for parts.

The Seymour Heights students
tange from age eight to 17. They
are: Kelvie Hanson, Carmen
Turner, Jennifer Anderson, Chris-
ty Gibbens, Suzanne Scorda, Jill
Goodbrand, Kleo Landucci, Jenny
Shirley and Julia Raeder.
