Norwesters on Norwesters Track and Field Club junior cross- country team wound up a successful Spring season last Saturday. Six runners returned to the North Shore with three first place rib- bons, a second, a third and a fourth. The Basil Parker Cross Country is run through woods and farm-land outside B3 - Wednesday, March 23, 1983 - North Shore News Club first and second place in the combined 1973 and ! 974 categories. First place ribbons also went to Sigrid Otto and Trevor Craven, the first girl and first boy to finish out of a field of 80 11 to 13 year-olds. The two Norwester veterans showed the stamina and pacing which made the run the push for the finish line. He ended as the third 1970 boy to pass the post.
