Each year, many
Canadians head for foreign
countries to visit with friends
and relatives. Naturally, we
go bearing gifts of all
descriptions, some welcome

Let’s look at some of the

The first rule is to try to
take something that is either
unavailable abroad, or’ just
too darn expensive for your
hosts to buy.: Some things
just never occur to us — for
example, did you know that
it is impossible to buy
commercial sour cream (you
know, that stuff you buy in
tubs and slather on baked
potatoes) im Italy? Also,

their cream cheese is a lot

different than ours — good,
but not worth a damn if you
want to make a good old

fashioned Canadian
cheesecake.
My Italian friends

developed a taste for this
luxury years ago while
travelling in North America.

TORONTO (UPC). - Sun-
flight Vacations Ltd.,
Canada’s largest tour opera-
tor, announced agreement

glee. Trouble is, you may
not see too much of your
