Mailman assaulted A. 50-YEAR-OLD 'Canada Post employee was pushed from his delivery vehicle and run over in an alleged rob- bery attempt in West Vancouver at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29. According to the West Vancouver Police, the incident eccurred when the victim stopped to mahz a delivery in the 3500-block of Mathers Avenue in West Vaacouver. The victim suffered multiple fractures to his foot. The stolen vehicle was recovered within 15 minutes in the 380)-block of Westridge Avenue. A fellow Canada Post employee saw the vehicle and detained the suspect until the West Vancouver Police arrived. A 24-year-old West Vancouver.male is being held by _ police in connection with the incident. He faces’a robbery charge. Other charges are being considered.
