rescued A 20-YEAR-OLD Vancouver man was rescued on Mon- day, after he goi lost while hiking (o the Mount Seymour parking lot. According to a North Shore Rescue team spokesman, Trevor Miller became disoriented’ by low clouds and wandered off the trial. The hiker ended up in a treacherous urea known as Suicide Gully. Miller was fast seen by friends at 5 p.m. on Sunday. A search party reached the lost hiker at 5:45 a.m. the following day. Miller was not injured in the incident. A North Shore Rescue team spokesman said hikers shuuld not take short-cuts in low cloud conditions, especially when they are unfamiliar with North Shere mountains. Many members of tie volunteer rescue team had com- pleted a full weekend of search and rescue exercises in Lions Boy when they were calied out on Sunday to rescue the hiker.
