“Lutine’s” is the latest safon to join the®
community in Deep Cove. Owner. and
operator Lutine Bjornson looks forward to
sharing with you her wealth of experience.
She has studied under world .class-[
competitors, trained as a hairdresser and
apprenticed as a barber. She styled hair all
across Canada, picking up pointers along:
the way. This included several assisting stints
in the late 70’s with Vidal Sassoon: As a

‘Master Colourist and Perm Technician, she has performed for, lectured -

and taught hairdressers across the country. Colour correction became a
sought after specialty. Paris also was part of her training circuit and.
owning three previous saloris has rounded it alt off. “I am dedicated to
making a positive and creative difference in people's lives,” says Lutine. -
This fourth salon has joined the trend of the 90’s. It's downsized but
fully operational and it’s in the horne, licensed and professional. The
earthy, warm decor creates an inviting calm atmosphere, relaxing for’
even the most “salon intimidated”. Children are always welcomed, with
toys for their enjoyment and oiten, even a babysitter. :
Lutine's has been acknowledged with an award for-being an.
environmentally conscicus salon, something she is very proud of. Thus

_always on the lookout for natural products, reduced bulk packaging,

refill programs, low toxicity chemicals, recycling wherever possible and
reduced throw away conveniences.

At present Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. are her
only working days, not wanting to leave her Vancouver clients high and
dry. This in time will change as her services in Deep Cove are more in’
demand. 7
