But North Shore compa- nies that count the popular show as one of their clients are putting a brave face on the possibility of losing a longtime client. North Vancouver’s Reel Appetites is one of those companies. Owner Jane Mundy said the amount of business the industry provides as a whole reduces the impact of one show a great deal. The fate of the show is not actually a done deal and is currently hanging in the bal- ance with few, if any, concrete decisions made to date. According to trade publi- cations, the show's move south is imminent because Dave Duchovny, one of its stars, is rumored to dislike Vancouver. Tt has been reported thar one or bis contract condi- tions calls for the show to move to Los Angeles. Fueling the fire of the rumor mill are stories that both Duchovny and his co- star Gillian Anderson have recently purchased houses in che Malibu area of Los Angeles.
