This past year, in celebration of a great year—as well as our 50th Anniversary—we shared $9.3 million with our members in the form of an 8% share dividend, a 1%% interest bonus on deposit interest we paid to members in 1995, and a 14% interest rebate on loan interest paid by members in 1995, We also continued our tradition of sharing with our commu- nity, by contributing $1.8 million to community groups through the VanCity Community Foundation, VanCity EnviroFund, and community partnerships and donations.
