Several appeared recently before
the district’s education committee
meeting to demonstrate their exper-

tise in computer systems technolo-
u

Working with industry mentors,
the students are building data bases
and other information systems.
Teachers act as senior project man-
agers. The students also set up a
home cormputer programming busi-
ness and designed a program from
ski racing at Blackcomb Mountain.

Trustee Michael MacDougall
complimented the students and their
teacher Dennis Joel for their pro-
ject-based work.
