Robber eludes police

A robber held up
Denny’s on March 25
while a Mountie was
outside the restaurant
pulling over a motorist.
According to the North
Vancouver RCMP, the restau-

rant in the 2000-block of

Marine Drive was robbed at 2
am.

Police say the Mountie
outside the restaurant chased
the robber to a waiting vehicle
behind the eatery.

The robber got away in a
