drivers placed well in their
respective classes.

The feature Formula Ford
race had 17 entries. The North
Shore’s Bob Leflufy quatified
fifth in his ‘‘Sony Store”
Royale, only to have his

Pieter Baljet of West Van-
couver, driving a ‘‘Trans-
Am” prepared Camaro, blew
the field away in the fourth
race of the day. Baljet lapped
the entire field in the special
production class.

In the same race, Jim Land,

drivers

also of West Vancouver,

drove his Pontiac Trans-Am

to a first place in the GT!
class.

The Sports Racing class saw
two North Vancouver drivers,
Tom Munro (B Sports Racer)
and Mike Langford (D Sports
Racer) win their respective

classes.
