highly successful Sixth An-
nual Vancouver Wine
Festival showed that Van-
couverites are developing a
real thirst for wine
knowledge.

The three-night event drew
crowds of about one thou-
sand people each night to
hear speakers and taste wines
from British Columbia,

Washington, Oregon and
Cahtornia.
Many residents and

restaurateurs from the North
Shore took the opportunity
to sip their way through ap-
proximately 200 wines of
