The annual event, now in its fourth year, was hosted by the City of West Van- | couver and the West Van Recreation Centre Whip-Its gymnastic club. Competitors came from the Pacific Northwest, in- cluding Victoria, Seattle, Montana, Nebraska and Illinois as well as the Lower Mainland. The Gymfest offered something special to the gymnastic connoiseur as all men’s and women’s artistic events were supplemented by both trampoline and power tumbling. Basically a fun meet, the gymfest drew a quality of competition which provided first class entertainment to the watching crowd.
