A19-Wednesday, June 25, 1980 - North Shore News ‘Livability’ display comes to Park Royal “Livability in the 1980s” — a presentation put together by the Greater Vancouver Regional District planning department — will be on display July 2 to 5 at Park Royal Shopping Centre, West Vancouver. A number of key aspects of the GVRD's Livable Region Program are covered in the display, with the emphasis on public transit, plans for a LRT (light rapid transit) system and the Official Regional Plan update. The presentation includes a slide show, LRT model, photographs and other materials.
