Witnesses said the ferry pulled away from
Bowen Island Marina before crew members
checked to see if anyone had been hurt. The
crew members also negiccted to tum on fights
to assist panicky passengers, help or reassure
passengers, and check for damage-to the ferry
before continuing the sailing.

An interested member of the audience at the
Snug Cove public meeting was Norma Dallas,
who owns the Bowen Island Marina with her
husband. . ;
