What we have is the Tory socialists, the Liberal socialists, and the socialist socialists. That little witticism pop- ped into the Collins noddle last Saturday, when I was talking to a women’s group about Judge Rosie ‘Abella’s crazy plans for inequalities all round in the name of equality. ; ‘You know, reverse discrimination, equal pay for equal work, etc. It gave me a certain childish n!easure, and its truth was brought home when I read the speech that Michael Walker: gave in Toronto. Walker, who is the director of the Fraser Institute, has drawn up a “report card’’ on the Tories’ first year in power, and what they get is failing grades. Well, why should they, when the top unemployment rate is $276 a week? kk * More of the same: a guy in Windsor, Ont. won $1.2 million last year in a lottery. But that's not the item.
