Pacific Soundwaves, a gala con- cert that links the West Coast of B.C. with China, Japan and Australia, is the finale in the B.C. Choral Federation’s annual Chorfest weekend, hosted this year by the North Shore Chorus. Choir members from ail over B.C. will gather at Capilano Col- lege Sportsplex this weekend for two days of workshops and rehearsals followed by a Sunday concert at 2 p.m. Concert-goers will be treated to amass choice of over 120) adults and 150 youth, who are pertorm- ing a selection of songs by Percy Grainger, Special guests are the Vancouver Chinese Association, the B.C. Boys Choir, the Uzume Taiko drumm- ing ensemble and the Chinese Ensemble.
