SIX NORTH Shore skiers placed
in the top positions Jan. 18 and
19 at Apex Alpine in Penticton.

There were more than 80 skiers
competing in the Okanagan Zone
Freestyle Championships. In the
moguls competition, for the
Senior Men’s division: Jim Clarke
placed second; Shane Szocs, third;
Dave Kolar, fourth; and Glen
Mitterndorfer, fifth.

For the Senior Women’s, Kelly
Ringstad placed first. For the
Junior Women’s, Andrea Ryce
placed second.

Freestyle skiing consists of three
events: moguls, aerials and ballet.
