SENIORS ARE invited to join a bus trip to the Newton Wave Pool in
Surrey.

Sponsored by the North Shore Neighbourhood House, the trip is being
held on Friday, Oct. 20 from 9:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

“Participants may jump into the jacuzzi, sweat it out in the steam
room, take part in aquacizes in the pool or pump iron in the weight
room,” said Carel Bond, seniors program worker.

Cost of the trip is $5 which includes entrance fee. Participants are ask-
ed io bring appropriate clothing and towels for the post.

Pre-register at the North Shore Neighbourhood House, 225 E. 2nd St.,
North Vancouver. Participants leave from and return to the

Park Royal Shopping Certre are
co-sponsoring the B.C. junior chess
championship tournaments Friday
through Sunday, Oct. 20 to 22 at
Park Royal North Mall.

Age categories include junior
(under 19), cadet (under 15), and
under 10s. First, second and third
