Discussion leader is Rabbi Balla, who, in addition to his rabbinical diploma, holds a doctorate in history. Made completely from recycled materials, Gar Can houses an in- teractive computer ihat challenges participants to test their knowledge of recycling. Test your skills with Gar Can at Park Royal Mall from Oct. 10 to 16 and Capilano Mall from Oct. 17 to 23. The Gar Can display also features photo-stories of winners of the 1988 GVRD recycling awards. Visitors can pick up their own GVRD recycling directory, doodle-art book covers, fridge magnets and buttons. On Saturday, Oct. 15, the Imag- ination Market will join the display at Park Royal. Between noon and 4 p.m., children of all ages can build robots from the Imagination Market's recycled treasures. The GVRD promotes recycling as a means of reducing garbage volumes and improving the en- vironment.
