The 67th Pacific National.
Exhibition -- today the fourth
largest fair in North America ~
-- kicks off at 10 a.m. this
Saturday from Georgia and
Thurlow, the __ traditional
starting point of the grand
annual PNE parade with its
two hours of pomp, pagean- |
try, spectacular floats and
beautiful girls.

And, speaking of feminine
‘charms, this year’s parade
; ‘marshall is the Honourable
Grace -McCarthy, deputy
premier and provincial secre-
tary, who will also. officially
open the fair from the CBC’s
live television location at the
PNE grounds.
