HOUSEHOLD move can be an expensive proposition, . depending upon: how much _you’re moving and. where you’re moving to. By Paddy Bateman Contributing Writer: * _. Ask for suggestions about how you can save without risking your valuables. You’d be surprised at the cooperation that comes from a professional!.”’ One suggestion Clay offers is to talk to the mover about a com- bination pack in which the mover takes responsibility for your fur- niture, appliances, china, glassware and other valuables, and you self-pack your soft goods like linens, bedding and clothing. “and don’t forget,’’ advises “that most professional movers can provide you with the kind of packing cartons you need to self-pack for the greatest safety protection.” Another way to save money on CONSOLIDATED ROOFING SERVICES FREE ESTIMATES - PROMPT, COURTEOUS SERVICE ® Re-Roofing and New Roofing © General Roof Repair * Cedar Shakes and Shingles © Aspholt Shingles . 980-0677 683-0489 Direct from the manufacturer e Custom bullt closet organizer instatled or Do-it- yourself Mirrer doors Melamine finish Elfa baskets Wire shelving a move, he suggests, is to talk to the company about timing.
