shore excursions in Mediterranean ports, I
mentioned that cabs were a good deal in Istanbul.
In brackets beside the word cabs, I'd written the

word TAKSI.

needed help. and changed.
the word ¢ to TAXI. Anyone

remember. any of- the odd
spellings used. The Turkish
language,prior to.1928 was

written :in: Arabic characters
but’: in keeping. with a

More. . trivia:. If you're
