TF you lived in Kitsilano
in the °70s it was hard
to miss the The Rocky
Horror Picture Show
phenomenon.

Midnight shows at The
Ridge drew sold-out lineups
weekend after weekend.
Halloween screenings saw
more audience members than
usuat costumed in the style of
their favourite characters and,
if I remember correctly, man-
agement eventually raised the
prices to cover the cost of
cleaning up tease, rice and
water. (Audience participation
was messy.)
