Editor: PAT RICH CORNWALL, Ont. (UPC) - The North Shore Indians won all but one of their games on the weekend at the Canadian senior B championship, but had to settle for the bronze medal. Representing British Columbia at the President's Cup tournament, it was the second year the Indians had to settle for a third place finish. However, Indians’ player Barry Powless was named the tournament's most valuable player. The Indians opened the tournament with a 24-12 doubling of Saskatchewan. Continuing his outstanding play from the West Coast and provincial cham- pionships, Jeff Gill led the Indians with five goals. Harry and Daryl Powless contnibuted hat-tncks for the Indians. The Indians followed this victory with a 22-15 win over Su Nations, the Can-Am team. But in their next game the Indians gave up some costly penalties and were edged 14- 11 by Ontario.
